announcing: Blissed Out Photography!

So I have made an official move to Blissed Out Photography. I am VERY excited about this, because I see it as a step into an entirely different world for me. I had my first session since the transition from Stephanie Kaloi Photography to Blissed Out Photography yesterday, with John:






I really enjoyed this session; everything was fairly low-key, and John is also the first individual male that I've photographed besides my husband! I've photographed couples, but before yesterday all of my individual portraiture had been of women.

There have been some changes, price-wise, with Blissed Out. This is for a few reasons, which are varied, but I remain committed to my promise to work with anyone and everyone who asks me. If a price is too much for you, let me know, and I'm definitely negotiable. Also, these are the locked in prices, regardless of how big or little my venture into photography becomes.

On that note, today I met with Shani, who will be the bride in my first ever wedding! This is more thrilling for me than I can explain. My foray into wedding photography was a hesitant one, but I'm getting more and more excited about this prospect as the days draw nearer. The wedding is 8 August, so look for updates about it then. Shani is very into the non-traditional, which is perfect for me, as I am always striving to make my work as unique as possible.

new: portraits, wedding prices, and website in general!

Hello again!

The website is still at the same location, but the layout has changed. I really like this one, so hopefully it will repel my sometimes scattered mind and stick. :)

I have new portraits up. They haven't all been edited and uploaded, but a good 15 or so have, and it'd be great if you checked them out! Here are a couple:

welcome!

Ok, so I thought a blog would be a fun way to update visitors to the site about what I've done lately. We'll see where this goes. :)

First of all, thanks for visiting my photography website. I really appreciate it--everything I receive positive feedback for my work, or someone is interested in booking a session or wedding, I get so incredibly excited! It is rewarding to have something that you put effort and time into appreciated by others.

Other than that, I recently received my first-ever request to take senior portraits! You can see them at the website, but here are a few that are my favorites:

This was a really fun shoot; both Gloria and Katie were game for pretty much anything, so we had a good time.

In other news, I've recently booked two weddings (one for August and another for November) that I am very excited about! I'll definitely update about those. Other than that, I'll do my best to remember to update this blog!
